The short answer

The key distinction is how you want to use the second row: Honda lists Magic Slide seats for the 2025 Odyssey EX-L; Chrysler lists second-row Stow ’n Go for the 2024 gasoline Pacifica Touring L. Compare the actual seat arrangement and try the changeover you would use most often.[1][2]

Same family question. Different solutions.

Manufacturer specifications describe model/trim equipment. Verify seats, accessories and operation on the individual used vehicle. This comparison does not transfer plug-in-hybrid specifications to a gasoline Pacifica.

Choose around the change you make most often

Think about the task that makes your current vehicle frustrating. Is it moving people between rows, finding space for a bulky purchase, or changing from a weekday passenger layout to weekend cargo?

During a visit, ask to see the seat adjustment and folding process. Try the controls yourself with the vehicle parked. Notice the effort, the space needed and what must be moved out of the way. A feature is only useful if the process fits your routine.

The trim matters as much as the model name

A review of a top-trim minivan can make equipment sound universal. Honda’s EX-L specification and Chrysler’s Touring L feature chart are the right starting points for this comparison.

Treat original trim equipment as a checklist for inspection. Used vehicles can have missing removable seats, different accessories or features that need attention. Ask about the exact vehicle rather than relying on another trim’s video tour.[1][2]

Run the same stroller-and-bags test in both

Keep the passenger seating you actually need, then load the same folded stroller and bags. Check the opening, the loading height and how easily you can reach the last item. Do not award a winner from cargo-volume figures measured in different configurations.

If you often alternate between passengers and bulky cargo, repeat the seat changeover after your packing test. That is where the differences become tangible.

Compare the whole used vehicle

The current Classic listings below show each vehicle’s advertised price and mileage together. Different years and mileages make this a choice between individual used vehicles, not an equal-condition price contest.

Ask for the history report, available service records and a written quote for each shortlisted vehicle. Confirm which seats and accessories are included. A lower advertised price alone does not establish a better fit for your family.[3]
